Toyota Cresta
The Toyota Cresta is a mid-size 4 door sedan produced by the Toyota Motor Company, Japan. It's a derivative of Toyota Mark II, and only officially sold in Japan. The Toyota Cresta has been known as one of the 'triplets' or 'quartets' of Toyota, due to the fact that it shares the same chassis with the Toyota Cressida, Mark II, and Chaser.
X61 (1980-1984)

The boxy but elegant shaped X71 Cresta was launched in 1984.
X81 (1989-1992)

In August 1990, there were major revisions to the entire X81 family lineup and some of the models received entirely new engines. The top-range models (2.5GT) received the new 1JZ engine. The 1JZ models were only available in 4-speed automatic transmission.
X90 (1992-1996)
- X90 Cresta
In October 1992, the X90 Cresta replaced the previous X81 Cresta. It had a larger body, better handling and more engine power. The body was curvier and the car was significantly longer.
X100 (1996-2000)
- X100 Cresta
In September 1996, the X100 Cresta replaced the X90 Cresta.
