Coilover "Damper" systems for the X81 (also X83) Chaser, Mark II, Cresta, and Cressida.
The GX81/JZX81 Toyota Chaser, Toyota Mark II, Toyota Cresta and MX83 Toyota Cressida (aka the X8) uses a double wishbone independent rear, and McPherson strut front suspension setup.
This means that the rear suspension uses a three-bolt strut mount upper, and convensional shock style lower mount, and the front suspension uses a three-bolt strut mount upper, and wheel hub bearing carrying spindle with bolt on ball bearing to lower control arm with tension rod style lower mount.
There have been a number of brand name suspension systems made for the JZX81 and GX81 that have also been used on the MX83. Most of these systems have been discontinued in Japan due to the relative age of the X81 series.
